I won't stay that I LOVE the book, 'The Hat' by Jan Brett because I say that I love every book. So, I will just say that this is also one of my favorites!!!! It's just a classic that I think the nuggets will enjoy. We do have Library on Friday so I will gauge how much extra sitting and reading time the kiddos will do best with. If we don't get a chance to read it on Friday, I will do a quick 'picture walk' and read it next week.
We will make time for our fun H is for Hat Craft! This is a nice 3 step process craft (Step 1 - cut/Step 2-color/Step 3 - glue on cotton balls).... Then we have an adorable H is for Hat!!!!
AT HOME TIP: We will also be doing some playdough writing!!! Our kids LOVE the playdough. Mrs. Racz is the best and bought a fresh stash (nothing better than new playdough)!! The kids can't get enough of it, and it is SOOOOO good for building those hand muscles!!!! So, we are going to work on a little letter H writing in our playdough. We will also practice writing our names! This is a great at home kitchen counter activity!!! My daughter still enjoys 'writing' in her playdough and she draws too (I have been known to join in, as well)!
